UOB Forum + Interview (2nd part)

Back to UOB assesments for 2nd stage...

Overall, my groupmates were nice, humour and co-operative. It was fun to be a teamate with them. We only used RM17 to design an egg catcher and our design was successful to prevent the eggs from broke. For the group which unable finish the budgeting and design within the given time, they had to buy extra times by adding cost. Besides that, if the egg catcher unable prevent the eggs from broke, each broke egg will be charged RM20 (overhead cost) to the budgeting. For improvised version, we unfortunately break a egg when throwing it from 6 feet height. In conclusion, we only broke 1 egg from total 4 eggs. Our total cost is RM 54 for 2 versions. It considered cheaper compare to other groups since some groups' costs are RM70-80...However, the main objective of the assesment was to test our teamwork throughout the process.

The assesment was finish and it was hi-tea time...Another free meal to eat =p (I'm so greedy huh, always eat eat eat >.< ) After 10 minutes, we entered the ballroom again for written test and presentation. There were 6 questions to be choosen. Fortunately, there was a question which was related to marketing so I choose the question to answer .. hehhe.. "How to differentiate urself (bank) from other competitors??" For marketing students, 4P / 8P is the common answer and that's my answers =p

For presentation, the panels said my general marketing concept and presentation was good, but need to do more research on banking & finance. Yeah, I admit it as I was totally done nothing on bank research since I busy like hell during previous week =p Anyway, I really learnt alot from them.

Finally, all assesment were done. I stayed back to chit-chat with the "seniors" who are currently working. They were kind in sharing their interview and working experience with me. They all treat me like a little sister since I'm youngest among them =p Really thanks to those "kor kor" & "jie jie" hehe...

Lastly....In earlier, I'm actually planning to give up on going to KL attend UOB forum since I had difficulty on accomodation and it's really rush for me since I had a lot of assignments to be done. But, thanks to my dear and housemate who continuosly encouraged me to go for UOB forum after I get the invitation.

After attending the forum and assesment, I really learnt alot and it makes my eyes wider. It was a exciting, challenging, and memorable weekend for me.

And Now...all the remaining 60 candidates were waiting for the results and those finalist will be invited for next stage through email...To be in or not is not the most concern..At least, I had learnt something that is beneficial for my future...
